Brazil, and especially Rio de Janeiro is on the cusp of a business renaissance driven by increasing commodity prices, most specifically oil and gas as well as agricultural commodities. It is estimated that oil and gas exploration will create 50,000 new jobs in 2022 alone in Rio de Janeiro.. Asset prices in the city are still depressed as a result of the pandemic, unlike the rest of the world which has seen enormous price increases. Our minimum target yield on each project is 12%+ for Class B properties and 7%+ for Class A. We just under $6M in property either purchased on under commitment and require funds to complete purchases and renovations.
