Our strategies would include real estate, venture capital, private equity and other strategic investments We have identified an investment opportunity within a Free Trade Zone (FTZ), that is fully backed by Nigeria’s federal government and anchored by an oil refinery and a deep seaport. Alaro City is a mixed-use city, planned to be the logistics hub of Nigeria’s Lekki Free Trade Zone; the Free Trade Zone was conceived by Nigeria’s current President when he was a state governor in 2006 Lekki Free Trade Zone is made up of four quadrants. The first three operational quadrants will host (i) a $1.5 billion seaport (completed in 2022), (ii) $20 billion oil refinery (received first crude shipment in December 2023) and (iii) Alaro City, a mix commercial and resident city Our immediate goal is to acquire sizeable piece of land in Alaro City for future developments; IHG is currently fundraising to acquire 2,500 sqm, with plans of increasing acquisition size in the future. Our medium to long-term target is to acquire 30,000 sqm. Businesses in Alaro City will enjoy benefits of the Free Trade Zone, including zero corporate tax, low construction cost and zero sales tax.
