We are a new rum company based in Southern California. Our brand is tied to family, friends and our stories that connect us together. Hook Hand Rum is the only blood orange flavored rum in the US, Join our journey of building a fantastic rum brand. We are not building a rum company…we are building an incredible brand that drives the sales and marketing of Hook Hand Rum. We know this seems counterintuitive, but we strongly believe that unless you have a strong brand, nobody will be interested in just another new spirit brand. Our brand in all about stories. Stories are in our very nature. They help us remember who we are and where we have come from. Stories captivate, inspire, and cause emotions to well up. But what is most important about stories is that they connect us at our human level. And that is what Hook Hand Rum is all about...connecting people through the power of storytelling. This is how our story begins... Founded by two friends and a father in the beach cities of southern California, Hook Hand Rum was built around the idea that rum taps into the cultural element of storytelling and some seriously good times. With a background of marketing, martech and sales…Evan, Dan and Andrew knew they had to build a solid brand foundation as a starting place. They built the foundation of the brand and based it on a character, Bartholomew Scott, a pirate known as Hook Hand, who only stole rum. Bartholomew flavored his rum he stole to mark it as his own, the first is Bartholomew’s Blood Orange. They designed a business model that takes advantage of modern and efficient tech to make, sell and distribute spirit products. There are no sunk costs in a distillery, traditional aging of rum or traditional distribution. They are working with a new model of distribution to save costs and have more control on growth. Everything is aimed at marketing the brand, moving bottles and depleting products. Hook Hand Rum is primed for growth and we want you to come on board. We have an aggressive marketing plan and many precommitments for sales. This is a big idea in a big space and is poised for rapid growth. All we need is you.

People are wanting to drink less and experience more. That is why we created Hook Hand Rum. We are building an experience brand that is positioned around our most human connection, when we share our stories with each other. Sourced from Puerto Rico and rectified here in the US, Hook Hand Rum is designed to give a better experience first with being a 35% ABV spirit. This allows for a more flavor forward spirit that appeals to many. The brand has a main character, a pirate named Bartholomew Scott. He is only known through a series of stories and legends, and as the story goes he only stole rum. He flavored all his rums. Known for throwing tale worthy parties Bartholomew was himself a collector of stories. We have created a strong marketing company, we will have our own sales team and already have distribution for three largest alcohol markets in the US as we begin. We are bringing to market a premium flavored rum at a time when that is exactly what the market is looking for.
