With over 700,000 international students in Canada, contributing roughly $22 billion to the Canadian economy, international students are one of the most underrepresented groups when it comes to employment support. 81% of international students consider finding employment as the number one factor when choosing to study abroad, yet 56% of international students struggle to find employment post-graduation. Higher education institutions are not equipped to tailor career services to the unique needs of international students, despite international students making up 30% of the Canadian higher education tuition fees. Our work starts in Canada but our goal is to put Canada on the map and expand to help international students globally.
