David has extended its project and requalified their previous Reg A+ crowdfunding deal with Dalmore Group. It is a feature-length animated film based on the biblical story of David. The film is under production and is under contract with a computer animation studio in Cape Town, South Africa, for the development and creation of David. David is in the process of story development, animatics, research and development, character design, music development, and pipeline development, and will be released in partnership with Angel Studios. David Michael Brett Johnson, Osment Philip Cunningham, and Sanet Kritzinger founded Slingshot USA in 2021. The current crowdfunding campaign has a maximum target of $37.5 million, to reach the project total of $60.9M. The campaign proceeds will be used for marketing, advertising, production expenses, and miscellaneous expenses.
